Potato Breakfast CasseroleIngredients:
1 bag frozen hash browns - cubes or shreds 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 - 8 ounce container sour cream 1 - 8 ounce bag shredded cheese crushed corn flakes buttery flavor spray coating (like "PAM") Directions: 1. Prepare a 9 x 13 baking dish by spraying with spray coating 2. In a large bowl combine potatoes, soup, sour cream, and cheese. 3. Spread potato mixture into baking dish 4. Sprinkle some corn flakes on top of potato mixture 5. Spray corn flakes briefly with buttery flavor spray 6. Cover and refrigerate until ready to bake 7. Uncover and bake at 350 until bubbly and corn flakes have started to crisp. I add pepper to the potato mixture. Some people also melt a couple tablespoons of butter or margarine into the potato mixture. I've had it both ways, and it does not make a lot of difference. |
