Crock Pot KielbasaIngredients:
2 pounds grape jelly 2 bottles Heinz Chili Sauce (usually near the cocktail sauce) 2 packages of kielbasa (about 4 feet) 2 bottles whole cocktail cherries (maraschino) 2 small cans chunk pineapple Directions: 1. Mix Chili Sauce and grape jelly in the crock pot 2. Slice kielbasa and add to sauce 3. Heat in crock pot on low 4. Add drained cherries and pineapple during the last hour This only needs to get hot. Nothing has to be cooked, so it will only take a couple hours on low to be ready. This recipe always surprises people when they hear the ingredients. There's such a good sweet-and-sour thing going on that it's unbelievable, given the ingredients. The sweet and sour is provided by the grape jelly and the chili sauce. And one other thing... unless you have an actual Rival "Crock Pot," you really have a slow cooker. Yes, it is a trademark name. I only have a slow cooker. But it works fine. |
